Eisner got the message on Michael Moore. The LA and NY Times. along with the anti-American "establishment" networks, will get it too. Friday morning was a turning point. The domestic enemy has now done far more damage to America than our public will tolerate....

If everyone in America would CANCEL their newspaper subscription and refuse to turn to ANY of the NETWORK T/V stations for even just ONE WEEK... We don't even need everyone. You know what really makes conservative media work? Leftists. Without leftists calling in, complaining, pushing their wacky views and then getting hacked to death, conservative media would die. Air America is dying because it simply preaches to the choir in the left's strident and typically ugly way. Haven't ever tuned in to it and never will, but it just has to sound like a bunch of Sodomites complaining to each other about how the right wing won't pay for their AIDS treatments. Conservative media, on the other hand, entertains the leftist view, baits leftists to make their case, entices them to tune in, to stay tuned in and then ("here it comes," everyone waits for it) *BOOOM*, it trounces the leftists. Essentially, it does for conservatives what they all wish to do personally but can't. That is why it is so successful. Leftist TV is successful for the same reason. They push their view on CNN, ABC, NBC, MTV, we then get upset about it and it becomes a sensation. What we need to do, from the bottom up, is what I have done for near two decades. We all need to completely ditch our TV sets, read a variety of news sources from the web, focusing first and foremost on sources that simply give the facts, that do not spin-- sources like CSPAN. Clarence Thomas once impressed me with this sort of thing. Because of the leftist hypocrisy of the Washington Post, he stopped reading that paper. Someone once asked him about something the Post had written and he replied something like 'Sorry, I don't read the Post, so I haven't heard this. But I'll get back to you when I see something credible.' It was really a shot in the gut to the Post. Unfortunately, Thomas is only one guy. If all conservatives, just conservatives, completely turned from television and leftist newspapers and magazines, it would cause quite a ripple in the industry. Personally, TV could never entice me again. It is too passive. My kids are far more rigorous intellectually than most children. They are quite a bit more critical in thought than most adults. I think growing up without TV has helped. I think everyone should just throw it away. Try it, you'd be very surprised by what will happen to you by this one simple change in your life.
