we cannot perfectly live up to the higher standard we set for ourselves. There's a big, a very big difference in "cannot perfectly live up to the higher standard" and the creating of a lawless system bypassing Geneva conventions (Guantanamo) or establishing a widespread and well thought torture system aiming delibarately and precisely at the most vulnerable point of the human beings living in the invaded and occupied country: nudity, sexual abuse, sexual degrading and humiliation. I'm afraid your singing to deaf ears. The right cares little about the Geneva Conventions. Its all about winning and screw the rights of the Iraqis. In fact, their whole argument that we went in to get rid of a tyrant is a scam.......one of the biggest perpetrated in the last 50 years. They are not to be trusted! ted
