I think there's a lot of truth in your post. I tend not to trust politicians. I have more faith in our nation than our leaders. There is much that needs to be changed, including an overhaul in our system whereby at least half of the people are too busy or don't care enough to register or to vote.

Small percentages move politiicans as a result and what is said in the media makes a difference. Yet, I see the same comment from both sides, usually with a claim that some group controls the media, funny that it is often the same group.

I think both sides have been trying hard to lose the race and the best way I can categorize it.
