Nobody is saying all good - it's just the degree. To put what the US does in the war on terror or what Israel does in its defense in a comparison to what terrorists do is just totally bizarre. I'm not arguing the policy or the politics. One can certainly disagree with the US being in Iraq or whether Israel should abandon the territories, but when the debate gets to how people are treated, it becomes an issue of humanity and recognition of what is mala in se. What the soldiers did to prisoners is wrong in my opinion and so incredibly stupid. What is it with people wanting to photograph their worst actions? BUT - it pales in comparison with other events that have happened. The Palestinians who murdered the pregnant mother and her 4 children were apparently so proud of their deeds that they video taped it.
