Again - I don't disagree with that and have read many of the pieces which purport to connect the Bush and OBL families. I do wish there were more mainstream investigations. Given the level of attack in our campaigns, I certainly wonder why Kerry has not brought up this connection either directly or through those who are close to him. To me, this is much more of an important issue than whether he showed for duty or was AWOL. Why do you think Kerry or other democrats have not raised these issues? Why didn't they raise these issues in other campaigns or in his father's campaigns. Even Ann Richards who thoroughly attacked the Bush family on a personal basis, never, to my knowledge raised the Bush - Saudi connection. Our policy has not changed significantly from one administration to another and that is the point of my prior posts. It's easy to look back and say "shoulda" but after 9/11, I think Clinton would have done exactly the same.
