Yes, and the tech guy at the ISP thought so too but so far nothing has happened.

Thanks. I discussed it at length with Dave of SI admin and he referred to various experts round the place. Originally I thought SI had to be responsible but because I can access on dial-up that cannot be so. Dave even gave me another Username and Password to try and still I couldn't upload more that 1200 bytes. Of course, I cleaned the cookies out more times than I remember.

Maybe a setting, but what? The computer and the ADSL are apparently both working perfectly and I have many "tune-up", registry, anti-virus and anti-spyware programs all of which find nothing. I can also upload as much as I want to Yahoo, using ADSL, and, as I mentioned, "ping" various sites with packets far larger than the one I cannot upload to SI. It's truly a mystery.
