You don't understand. Kerry learned twice that if you do not respond to attacks, no matter how dishonest and trivial, that you lose. Neither Dukakis nor Gore responded to the rightwing smear campaigns. The first time Kerry ran for congress he did not stoop to respond either and lost. The Republicans may be dishonest and immoral, but they are not stupid in their politicking. They will not hesitate to call a war hero a traitor if it helps them win. Winning is everything and politics like war and love knows no rules. Therefore, Kerry and all of us who support him with this year vigorously hit back at any rightwing attacks. If they want to call John a traitor or murderer, we hit back with awolbush.com and a hundred other examples which prove that compared to Kerry, Bush is a midget of a man.
