If .5 % rise is coming the currency and stock market will start to discount soon -- otherwise it isn't coming. After Friday, I fear a single .25 raise is coming. AG is playing chicken with the markets -- hoping the spectre of a raise is enough to pull long rates back down. So far that hasn't worked. He will have to do at least one tightening, probably. If the bond selloff continues next week, it would fit with the market turning down here -- watch 92 92.5 on the buck and 5.00 on the tnx -- above there and we are probably in for .5% increase and a serious bust, IMO.
