oh come on, it is BUSH who wants that mexican immigration plan not Kerry, and John Snow was out about 6 mos ago pushing for increases in foreign work visa caps (L1 and H1B), even though technology unemployment was at an all time high at the time (and probably still is).

Democrats consider themselves to be the advocates of the working man or the lower classes and in that context they court the hispanic vote. But you don't see dems pushing for legislation that allows anyone who comes here to have a job legally. That is pure Bushonomic pandering to special corporate interests, something that Bush has done shamelessly since he has been in office, thinking naively that nobody would notice.
