what constitutes icing

It depends on the flavor ...

BUTTERSCOTCH
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon salt

VANILLA GLAZE
1 cup sifted confectioners sugar
11/2 to 2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

CREAM CHEESE
6 oz. cream cheese, softened
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon lemon juice
dash salt

CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE
1 pound (4 to 41/2 cups) sifted confectioners' sugar
11/2 squares (11/2 oz.) melted unsweetened chocolate
1/2 teaspoon almond extract

ROYAL ICING
3 egg whites
1 pound powder sugar
1/2 teaspoon cream of tarter

ROLL ICING
1/3 cup water
1/3 granulated sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Amazing. I was able to get all that information without a cell phone. Who woulda thunk it?

icing.

I learned all about icing, offsides and 2 minute penalties playing in HS.

Uncle One needs a break. Pat Tillman was a close family friend. I hope he and his bride are able to find a comfortable way to celebrate that.
