Why are you so scared of Air America? The truth frighten you? And why should we have no choice but to be pelted daily with rightwing propaganda from Hannity and Limbaugh without some balance on the airwaves? You attitude just proves we cannot trust you rightwingers. Your aim is to kill the truth, use rightwing propaganda to control the masses and rule with an iron fist. That's why some people call you guys similar to Nazis. You're moving in that direction.

why do you think that?

To be honest I don't think they have much in the way of a long term future either, but that is because when Bush goes, angry democratic radio won't be necessary and in general, democrats are not the "angry white men" that republicans are. But for now, if you ever listen to the program they have WAY more quality sponsors than you hear on the conservative shows- GM for example, onstar people like that. Rush Limbaugh used to spend his whole program pumping "Clean Shower" a few years ago.

As for AA paying for radio time, I don't know, the stations in the bay area they are coming up on are formerly asian stations and whatnot, its a 24 hr format so taking over an underutilized station is different than paying for time on a major station I would say. I really don't know how radio ops work. We were supposed to be getting ONE station in the bay area and now we have a total of SIX coming- berkeley, sacramento, sj, etc. If there was no interest this wouldn't be happening. Its probably like any other startup, struggling to manage the costs of GROWTH vs. early stage receipts.
