I continue to have a problem viewing Pitt as anything other than a neo con in sheep's clothing. I don't know how many of his articles I've read where he unfailingly supports the big lie that OBL was behind 9/11. In fact, it's amazing how often he manages to slip that one in, regardless of the topic he purports to be commenting on. So, now we have this big scandal, but in the process of this big scandal, the secretive testimony of Dick and George before the 9/11 Commission has been pushed positively out of the public eye, along with the August 6 PDB, and everything related to the so called "intelligence failure". You couldn't ask for a more perfect distraction, and those who support the war and hate Arabs are hardly likely to be upset by a little bit of playful torture. I can't think of a more perfect role for a CIA plant than the one Pitt plays. He's in a wonderful position to promote key pieces of disinformation, while at the same time adding names to a watch list of anyone making editorial comments of a radical nature. The big lie goes down easy when properly seasoned with little pieces of obvious truths.
