LIHOP theory was certainly way out of the mainstream when Pitt mentioned it a couple of years ago. I mean, we were talking about it back then, but who else was? Hardly anyone. It was taboo. Now it's becoming more and more accepted, even Farahkan recently said Bush probably LIHOP re: 9/11. The evidence that has come out this year, like the 8/6/01 PDB certainly points in that direction. Either utter incomptence or LIHOP was taking place in the early days of the Bush admin. Why they wouldn't warn the general public about a pending attack is mind boggling?!?

<<<You're such a skeptic.>>>

Yes, well... it would be pointless to deny it.

My view is the truth is bullet proof and will withstand any amount of questioning. When in doubt, chip away at it until it either proves bullet proof or tips over because it can't support its own weight.

There are quite a few places where I happen to agree with Pitt. Since he basically rewrites old news, it would be unusual if that were not the case. On the other hand, there are quite a few places where it's difficult to pretend he is publishing something other than pure hogwash. In the latter case, perhaps it was unfair of me to suggest he may have less than pure motives. There's always the possibility he is a well meaning pretentious fraud, who honestly doesn't know any better.

I don't have much use for him, but as a courtesy to you I'll stop picking on him.

In the mean time have you noticed that once again the Bush administration claims not to know anything, in spite of the fact the President of the United States is by definition the Commander in Chief of the military? He just stands around with that expression of a bad tempered 2 years being presented with strained veggies.
