I own Kieslowski's trilogy, but my kids at school wouldn't like it. It was hard enough getting them through a film like East/West- which is pretty concrete, and easy to understand. The kids in my classes have reading levels that go down to elementary levels- so I end up doing voice over- and the movie has to be pretty cool to survive that :-)

My lunch time movie group is mostly guys and they would NOT like Kieslowski's trilogy. They would like Donny Darko though- and I haven't shown that yet. We had a Depp festival that they just loved (Pirates of the..., Dead Man, Edward Scissor Hands, Sleepy Hollow). Now I'm sure there are one or two teenagers who might secretly enjoy Kieslowski, but I don't know who they are.
