Somehow these attributes of our great President Bush seem to have escaped you.

Voters Find Bush More Compassionate, Compatible, Likeable than Kerry

Analysis
By Dalia Sussman

May 2— George W. Bush has an edge on John Kerry on the personal attributes of compassion, values and likeability, another reason Bush has improved his overall position against Kerry since the Democratic primaries.

Americans, by an eight-point margin, pick Bush over Kerry as "friendly and likeable" and as "caring and compassionate," and by a seven-point margin as someone who "shares my values and beliefs," an ABCNEWS/Washington Post poll finds.

The two are about even (Bush +4, too close for polling tolerances) on another positive attribute, being a "people person," and they're also about evenly matched on two negative attributes — being "cold and distant" and having a "boring personality."

Sampling, data collection and tabulation for this poll were done by TNS.

These findings are in accord with a separate ABCNEWS/Post poll completed April 18, in which Bush was rated more highly than Kerry on attributes such as consistency, truthfulness, trustworthiness and strong leadership. They had about the same rating on "admitting mistakes," and Kerry was better rated on understanding the problems of average people.

In vote preference in that April 18 poll, Bush and Kerry ran about even head-to-head, with a slight Bush edge with Ralph Nader in the race. That was a bit better for Bush and a bit worse for Kerry compared to a March 7 poll, at the end of the Democratic primary contest.

You don't have the courage to face the facts and like everyone a shitless coward. Unfortunately unlike all of you I have no illusion.
Cheers,

Raymond, okay I will try to visit this board more often. Earlier I was only checking for massages once a month or so. (I may not post regularly and a silent reader maybe)
So, you call me a totalitarian. I think I will take it as a compliment. <grin>
How about the poison gas (WMD) Saddam used against the Kurds killing hundres of thousands if not millions? Also what’s wrong with lying in a war situation? Its part of the strategy (I think).
Also, the prison abuse, it is very common among the military to get naked. They take group showers among themselves and basic training involves stripping etc. It seems bunch of excited kids having fun at the expense of some naked Iraqis. How do you interrogate hostile Iraqi detainees without some form of force? Should they do it with flowers and music maybe (according to congress)?
CNN is a mouthpiece of democratic party. However what CNN truly wants is total freedom and total control over the news and become a propaganda machine for anything they seem to serve their purpose. Using the first amendment they would like to have the power to elect, control any government in the world. This is bad indeed. These CNN producers hiding behind the reporters are curse to earth.
Also, since the people are paying for the war, they should support Bush. Otherwise it appears they are bunch of suckers. They can’t pay for the war and then not support Bush.
Also, Bush is not idiot and far better than Clinton. He is honest and handles his job much efficiently than others (in my opinion).
Cheers,
S
