We have opposing opinions and emotions on this. I don't believe the woman and her children deserved to be shot to death. You do. No common ground there.

Seems removal of the Gaza settlements is still the plan. Google news for recent stories reveals the Israeli Defense Minister calling the settlements an historic mistake. Other stories quote members of Sharon's government saying the Gaza settlements are all to be removed.

Thus one can only logically conclude the killings weren't really about the settlements. But you already know that.
