I have trouble with all of them now because they seem to be telling me that i am not seeing what i see. When the iraq abuse thing broke and i saw the pics, my intuition told me bush days were numbered unless rummy took the hit. Too late for that now. May be too late for Bush.
Enter president kerry. Now is will spend part of my time trying to get kerry to the middle where david brooks says he is headed. Give me Bob Rubin and Holbrook for example and jettison protectionism, howard dean and michael moore. This country means too much to me, to ignore reality now. Do i really believe Holbrook, Bayh, Rubin to be worse than Rummy given rummys performance of late? Nah, there were plenty of clinton appointees who did good work. At least we will have split govt with kerry and since kerry is a legislator he probably will be open to consensus building and coalition govt. Bush will not be missed by the europeans, & middle easterners but he also wont be missed my a majority of americans if kerry finds his home in the center. Mike
PS anyone see nancy reagans impassioned plea for stem cell research? Another nail in the bush coffin.
