Some worms have the ability to elude installed antivirus programs. Go to TrendMicro and run their online scanner to be sure your virus/worm free and report back. If that scan shows clean you can download the mouse software before uninstalling. What mouse are you using? Right click your "My Computer" icon and go to properties. There should be a tab there or a button on one of the tabs that says device manager or hardware manager. Go there and expand the mouse/mice listing and the type of mouse you have should be listed there.
