Yes, that's true. One short trade really did him in, as I recall. His system seems to rely on extreme overbought or oversold readings in a number of indicators, which can stay that way for some time in a strongly trending market.

On the other hand, with the equity put-call ratio above 1 and the NYSE toying with 90% downside volume again, we may not be that far from a low. At least when it turns, it should turn strongly, I think.
