With articles like this available, and background material on Saddam, it wasn't too difficult to come up with the idea that the threat the Neocons were pushing was all pumped up. Message 20111497 All you needed to do was apply a little logic to the mountains of data available (discarding the bits at the fringes as too suspect). What I cannot decide is who in Washington applied their logic, and then coldly and calculatingly chose to disregard what was fairly obvious, and who was just stupid.
