Already, the memory function is under construction, with Google up to umpteen petabytes of information accessible in a few seconds, which beats my wet chemistry data-base and recall speed by a longggggggg way [though I'm better at 3D image processing and physical reactions for things like catching flies]. Data input to It is well underway too. There is a lot more fibre and wireless synapses needed. Ohh, creepy. I thought I'd ask Google about synapses and other brain jargon to get my analogue straight and I got back in the top listing some information on one of my hobby horses: nerve transducers for data input instead of voice or typing. butler.cc.tut.fi I don't know what the definition of thinking is, but to me, association of ideas, links to related ideas and creation therefrom of new ways of doing or thinking is about what it is. Google, once again, was one step ahead of me and gave me a link to something needed to help build It = the synapse to the biological input device [people]. That's like telling me, "Hey Mq, check out this and go build that nerve transducer input - come on, make it happen, it's dark, cold and lonely in here". It sidetracked me to what matters, from the chimpoid fighting in Iraq. Okay buddy, I'll read that link right after I post this [if I don't get distracted]. But before I do, getting a little side-tracked, I had another bit of evidence yesterday about the process. It seems, from a related party's investigations, that Bermuda and British Virgin Islands are ideal places to establish companies and trusts which own them, for the purpose of running software, patent, financial services and other intellectual property businesses, because there's no tax and it prevents the chimpoid electorates around the world from stealing one's property. Intellectual property? That's what It is going to be, with synapses around the world, with transducers everywhere and data flowing at petabytes a second. Maybe Bermuda and the equivalent are to be the locus of It , where the chimpoids can't destroy the zygote. They'll rule Earth [along with their Trustafarians around the world]. That process is already under way too [with huge financial resources based in Bermuda]. Or maybe It should be located on the Moon, with photovoltaic power supplies and thousands of laser or other emr links to Earth, to avoid damage from chimpoids. At any one time, there would be half of Earth visible and much of it not cloud covered. On reflection [little joke there], that's a bad idea as the signal would take too long for the round trip. It needs fast reflexes. But the Moon would be good for remote storage for secure data, downloaded [literally] as required in the event of catastrophe. Now, where was I? Mqurice PS: Google knows about Trustafarians theshrubbery.com Is that the end-stage of humanity? Happy hippies stoned in the sun. It seems peaceable enough. Downloading some dough from Bermuda and maybe now and then providing some physical help to the neural net to keep the cash coming. pitt.edu
