I don't necessarily think they will, either, but I also don't believe that zealots armed with nuclear weapons can be trusted to act rationally in a crisis. Imagine a crisis between the Muslim world and Israel similar to the Cuban Misile Crisis. Would you like to have the MMs' hands on a nuclear trigger under those circumstances?
