The attempt to capitalize on the 9/11 images, after their news publication, is evident.

I agree with this. However, I believe that the point made was that liberals were opposed to the airing of the footage, which I don't recall. That some may have been opposed to the endless replaying the images makes sense.

Interesting perspective...

So Americans were supposed to "contain their emotions" related to 9/11 and remain "objective", YET.. Iraqis are not supposed to do the same?

If anything, Iraqis should be VERY objective, given the fear they lived under for 30 years.

What's with the double standard?
