The Patriot Act has goodies in it for anyone who wants to take over the country or a wage a new McCarthy era. Tommy Franks has said that if the US were hit by a major WMD the Constitution might go out the window. If we had someone like Cheney in power he might try to install martial law and take over the country, outlawing dissidents and political opponents. Don't put it past him. Coulter has practically endorsed this.
