Wife wanted to seal the overflow on the pond. No, my 20 year expanding foam wouldn't be ok. She measures and comes home from Menards with a 3" female cap. I stopped and got a 2" male cap for 79 cents. Her's didn't work and mine did but it impeded taking the skimmer basket out because of the male nut. I took it off and put the nut in first then tightened it with a 1" breaker bar on the female side of the nut. Sarkie can explain the male/female thing to you. Unlike some human sexuality, the male needs a female and vise versa in plumbing and nut tighting.

<<So is not being able to hear. I started worrying about Helen Keller and how she got that way.>>

Ms. Keller was born deaf, blind and mute. As a young teen I spent some time on a 48' boat in the 1,000 Islands with a lady who lost her hearing in childbirth. Stomp the deck and she'd feel the vibration and look at me. She was one of the first to really develope lip reading as an art.

My feeling of clogging ear wise is almost gone. Kind of like being in an elevator, plane or diving. Annoying at the least.
