Lizzie, RE: "What we need is more UC Berkeley representation in government. "

This is so incredibly true.

Would prefer a Pres from UC Berkeley - and this applies to Kerry too. At least you would know they've had some level of exposure to diversity and a clue about global cultures. And what not to do in certain cultures to avoid endangering our lives even further! I have this really bad feeling the govt is going to issue only a court marshal and a one year jail term to the abusers, or something minimal like that, only to put us all at increased risk. The legal system let's the individual be more important than the well-being of the USA. Scary.

Our govt is like a time warp from the 50's, driving blind in the 21st century.

But here's the general that wrote the report on the abuse that brought it to attention. Smart looking guy. Ethical. Promote this guy fast. They should really get his photo plastered all over the place in the Arab world to show the USA may self-correct itself. He's certainly a hero. Doesn't hurt that he's also very handsome.
