The universe always gives us what we need to learn the next lesson. :)

Fill in the Jay's blanks:

(a) money printing to wash the savers.
About (a)
It is only possible because there's no competition between currencies. USD is the only game in town. That gives the FED free rein to print unimpeded.

(b) inflation of all we need
(c) deflation of all we have
About (b) and (c)
Companies and people think this way: I need to inflate and want all the others to deflate.
Give you my example: Problem is, as a contractor, mobile infrastructure vendors see my consultancy fee as something to be deflated to minimize their building costs and keep their margins in the equipment intact.

(d) energy interruption, shortage, high prices
About (d), there's nmo market acting on the stuff: There a tin cartel, a coffee cartel a cocoa cartel, a oil cartel… As a result there's price manipulation.

(e) perpetual war
About (e) with 'defense' budgets on the line -now that goverments have to spend money in old people- the 'defesne' establishments fight to keep their share of tax payers money by crerating the 'enemy' if the enemy is not there.

(f) lies, lies, and more statistics
About (f) given the amount fo clueless people in the planet, that's the easier part to concoct.

(g) no investment
About (g) there are very bright tiny spots in the overall dark environment. Needs guts and cold blood to invest. Li-Ka Shing 3G is an example of the investor who hasn't stopped. Singtel is another of the type. The average garden type investor is paralysed like a rabbit in front of the 18-wheeler's high beam approaching at 100Km/hour.

(h) plenty of inexpensive capacity
About (h) now that is good. In ten years time: Imagine 50% of all Africans, subcontinet Asia (Bangla and India) , SEA Asians and Chinese with a mobile phone (no, I'm not doing a MQ here, bear with me), all small businesses that need a PC and a fax machine has one. An Internet connection is available to either at home or at a small shop for a few bucks. The effect is going to be immense!! So far only the Nigerian fraudsters have harness this power to do wayo.

(i) no jobs
About (i) now we need to define the word job. Given (h) what is called 'job' is being ported to those developing countries where they can be done "cheap, cheap, last price". Pay to do easy jobs at inflated prices in developed countries, is gone forever. They have to become Switzerlands or else, compete in price.

(j) no genuine leadership
About (j) The last leader in the west took power 25 years ago, Maggie Thatcher. The only leaders I see are from developing countries Malaysia's Mahatir, Thailand's Thaksin.
