To paraphrase one of your (I'm guessing) heros, there you go again... responding to a reasonable post as though it's taking an extreme position and then arguing against it... It's a given that there are other violent cultures. The point is that we often promote ourselves as more developed and civilized than the rest of the world, and that just isn't the case. For example, we are the only Westernized country (I believe) that still has a death penalty. And in terms of weapons of mass destruction, I also believe that we're the only country that's ever used them.
