My son just graduated and gave us some poetry he had written. If you'll indulge a proud father...this might be an appropriate place to post this one.

Jesus' Covered Wagon

I do not think
I shall go to Heaven.
Too many people
will be fighting
over who should be there.

I would not want it
to come to blows
and have a wing broken
my halo bent,
for the rest of eternity.

Perhaps Jesus will come
and stay with me.
We'll grab some girls
and move out West,
start the whole thing over.
