That was a statement of confidence that the evidence Powell presented was not faked but was genuine. Like the audio and video recordings Powell played, in particular.

That was a remark on Powell's evidence being largely ignored while plagiarism charges made against a Blair speech were being hyped.

You seem to be implying the evidence was good- which it wasn't. I'm not sure there is any other construction one can put on that.

I would hope you wouldn't put any other construction on it. That's precisely what I was saying. And its what I still say. If you have a good reason for thinking Powell presented fake evidence, I'll be glad to listen to it.
