my husband heard many a "big fish" story... does he share his wife is all i want to know ! hehe To heck with the fish stories, I'll loan him boat for a day &night ...oops! ... i just broke one of the commandments , oh well. ;-) Oh this story and film are definietly carrying overtones of the most unusual and stylized "Oz-like" Burtonesque quality in the set~designs and extremely imaginative storytelling ...and Big Fish deals with all the Universal Fish stories a Father may tell his son that leaves the son bewildered later to find out that all those stories were not true , and who is left with only resentment of the "shadow" of the man he thought he never knew , but so desired to know. It's about every father and Son and the promise they may come to really share authentic moments , to embrace love and hail one another ...and at the same time let go. I shall not dare to ruin even a small part of it by telling you more ...but if you haven't seen this one , you will be enchanted so very completely. A simply amazing cast .
