You mean deliberately like the Israelis do, grabbing someone and making him or her walk in front of them to shield them from the bullets as they went searching houses in that camp where they refused to allow the UN to investigate? Yep.. that's wrong. But why should the UN bother to investigate, when they obviously don't give a cr@p about the militants and their atrocities (like sending children to blow themselves up, or as they did in Basra, detonating a car bomb that left 16 children burning to death in their school bus).. I haven't heard anyone even make the claim in Iraq. I guess, you broke the story. Oh, I see.. all of those insurgents obey ALL the Geneva conventions related to civilians.. They don't hide in mosques.. Don't commandeer civilian vehicles and force them to attempt to run roadblocks, hoping to provoke the Americans.... And they didn't commit that bombing against a civilian hotel the other day, now did they.. And we're not seeing Sadr's forces hiding in Mosqes in Sadr City right now, eh? I think you need to expand your news sources pal... That's the problem with much of the Arab mindset(even if you live in the US and are a citizen).. If they only spent 1/2 as much time in true self-reflection about why they have languished behind other developing nations, maybe they'd stop blaming everyone else for their misery. defenselink.mil hrw.org And you need to quit trying to always deflect the issues to some kind of Jewish conspiracy and face the fact that ALL people are capable of committing such heinous acts, given the right conditions of stress during wartime.. Even you and I.. Tell me that you're not going to be very tempted to tell an enemy soldier to go in front of you when you suspect he has some buddies lurking down the road waiting to ambush you.. The temptation would be very strong for anyone in such a situation.. But directly placing your military forces in the midst of civilians is a no-no. Hawk
