We had a lot of the same construction problems in Seattle...not really roof leaks that were the problem, but problems due to the use of the synthetic stucco material, Dry-Vit. I still see buildings being resided, all over town, and it often costs more to solve the problem than it did to build the whole building originally.

I was in Vancouver a few weeks ago, they are still building an amazing number of downtown units. People are having to get a number to buy in these new projects, and I was told they sell out the day the come on the market.

Speaking of Seattle real estate, homes are again receiving multiple bids. There was a story in the Sunday paper of a small bungalow that was priced in the high $300,000's and sold immediately at over a $100,000 above the ask.

Nope, there are some lawsuits and most of them are being won against companies like Polygon Construction but Polygon is as big as ever after destroying the lives of thousands of innocent people. They are terrible corporate citizens in my opinion as are many other companies that were allowed to move on without compensating owners of their poor construction.

Yes its true, Hong Kong businessmen have ruined Vancouver over the years. Government and Business has profited while the standard of living goes down in Vancouver every year and the quality of life has been very much diminished as a result.

My motto is:
WELCOME TO VANCOUVER.....NOW GO HOME!
