Looks like it finally became that "perfect short" or whatever it was called. Must be getting old, I can't remember.

I wonder if anyone actually continued shorting it from those days. Unlikely given the likely calls on the borrow.

Like you, I wondered about getting in if it goes low enough to get a good restaurant multiple. I'm going to have to visit the local place and see if there still are lines.

I think there is still a large part of the population which goes for do-nuts, mc D, fried chicken, etc. But KKD was also hitting the yuppie, guppie and puppie crowd with its cache.

Even though I'm a health food, organic type of person, I sneak over there once a year and make sure I consume enough to make me sick so I won't go back for another year. LOL.

Now how to quantify that with a premium over others? I think they need to come up with a great coffee. They have never had to do this because they always had huge lines and did not have the capacity to be a Starbucks or Dunkin. If the business is off this much, this may be the way to continue a very high multiple.

Mmmmm. I can see it now. A low-carb Pumpernickel 'n Peanut Glaze donut. It may not make your mouth water, but it'll sure bring a tear to your eye. <g>
