Do you have any special insight into the minds of the islamic militants, their history, and politics?

Where should I start? Moslem Brotherhood? The use of them against the Hashemites where they slaughtered countless numbers of muslims, christians, and jews when they they captured the Muslim holy cities in the Hijaz?

They violent attempts to turn almost every Arab country into an Islamic state?

How about Sayyid Qutb and his 30 volume Fi Zalal al-Koran?

How about the intolerant Wahhabist sect that creates a fertile ground for youths transitioning from mere extreme intolerance to militancy?

9/11?

What else do you think I should know Arun?

Or do you just fervently want to believe in the "clash of the civilization" idea.

I refer to it as a clash of ideologies. I can deal with muslims, just as I can deal with buddhists, hindus...etc, so long as they advance their religious beliefs peacefully and democratically..

Islamo-Fascism is a political ideology shrouded as a religious belief. The most radical form is Qutbism, which advocates the violent destruction of all things not in "tune" with the will of Allah (as they interpret it).

What I'm trying to avoid IS a clash of civilizations, which might just occur should the Islamo-Fascists succeed in swaying/coerce those millions of Muslim youths to their values.
