Scott, I'm engaging in creative loafing. I'm occasionally going to my local 7/11 and engaging the drunks who are racing their motors in the parking lot while their pals and mates are shopping for junk food in the store. This has been relevatory. The first time I tried this, the 7/11 clerk called the 9/11 dispatcher. Holy Cow! I didn't realize I'd be declared a terrorist by commercial America for asking a couple of people to turn off their engines while they were serving no purpose. But, apparently, I am an "enemy of the State" for openly asking Americans to be less wasteful in a time of war. Sacre Bleu! What kind of a warped world have we entered? During World War II, Americans pinched pennies. In San Francisco, decorative roof ornamentation was stripped in order to further the war cause. Today, in order to further the war cause, apparently the best idea is to waste gasoline! Do we live in insane times? I surely think so. I am appalled and aghast at the creeps who surround me. What happened to real Americans? Now I'm surrounded by cretins who want to waste as much as possible while they shred the Bill of Rights. America has been taken over by zombies! And it is all the Republicans fault for destoying the educational system. They were totally successful. The up and coming generation are completely clueless about taking care of themselves, methods of governance or common sense. But, by God, they know they are the Chosen People. To some of us, they look like the fattened calves.
