Without the cooperation of various European and Middle Eastern countries, if only to grant flyover rights,
there won't be any new war.

Write that down and give it to your kids and grandkids.
It will be a good lesson for them.

For example, how could we have gotten our military into Northern Iraq without the covert cooperation of Jordan?

A couple of weeks ago, Syria sent trucks filled with chemicals and driven by Al Qaeda drivers working for Zarqawi over the border into Jordan, with the goal of attacking various targets in Amman and killing about 20,000 Jordanians.

I think Jordanian covert cooperation will continue for the forseeable future, unless AQ manages to overthrow the Hashemites.
