rrufff, It is a shame that human beings, that say they all believe, have so fractured, and alienated themselves, from the core of the Christian movement. Christianity is not suppose to be the catalyst for debate, warfare, and hate. It is supposed to bring all believers together to worship the one that died for us, and preached love between fellow humans. Too many have let a book, written by human beings, become the topic of debate, instead of just believing in what Jesus said. Who cares how the earth was formed? Obviously is was, so what is the importance of how it was done? There had to be some sort of Supreme force that caused this creation, regardless of what theory one might believe. Even the big bangers have to admit that some power had to provide the elements, and the source of ignition, for their theory to have happened. Who cares that Moses came down from the mountain with 10 rules, that he had ample time to carve himself, when Jesus said that there were only two rules that counted? One is that we believe in the creating power, and that we treat others as we would want to be treated. That second one, covers all nine of the other "offical" commandments, so why get verbose over them?

Even if others do not believe as we do, the "do unto others" bit, says that we should not hate them, or do them harm.

Chrisitanity is the easiest thing in the world to understand, if the human factor is removed. Too many members of mankind are trying to make gods of themselves.
