If it were me that had suffered the ATROCITY that those 4 men suffered I would want the world to see and know that there are people doing things that ALL civilized societies must condemn.

I would, too.

I am not sentimental about dead bodies. They can grind mine up for cat food if they want, or even Soylent Green. I don't need it any more. I don't know why we make such a fuss over them. I have always thought it ridiculous that our soldiers or disaster responders get themselves killed retrieving dead bodies. The thought that someone would die retrieving my body would be more distressing to me than the realization of my own death.

Having said that, I realize that I'm the odd one. Just about everyone else is exquisitely sensitive to the treatment of the bodies of their loved ones. And the media and politicians are like everyone else. Even if they thought like I do, they would have to accede to it. That's just the way it is.
