The problem is more the Zionist lobby than big oil. And Kerry has gone out of his way to try to show that he will be even more supportive of Israel than Bush -- and that is really saying something.

Bottom line -- The US will never be at peace with the Arabs and Moslems as long as the Zionist lobby is able to dictate US policy on these matters.

Kerry on the other hand would be welcomed with open arms around the world and you'd see an immediate sea-change in terms of the level of cooperation.

I would agree with the first part. There may even be celebrations around the world. We should revisit our predictions come December.
