You seem to be in the minority among conservatives here in your understanding that the integrity of the USA is more important than perceived results in next week's poll. I don't want to scare you off with too much praise from a liberal...but as I watch them snarl at you to toe the line, it's refreshing to know that some on other side can rise above the partisan line. A statement needs to be sent to the world that we not just "sorry", but truly willing to admit these horrible mistakes by purging a few of our leaders. Then we can move on. What really saddens liberals and conservatives alike, is that we suspect the consequences of what has come to the fore in the past weeks may still reach into our childrens' lifetime and beyond no matter how we proceed.
