The quagmire in Iraq has many reasons, including the Likud and oil. Terrorisms is way at the bottom of the reasons since the attack was planned long before 9/11. TP

Jttmab,what is it that you support about Israel? A simple statement with a longer explanation. I think Israel has a right to exist as a State [pre-1967 borders]. The biblical borders are nonsense. They have a right to defend themselves; extrajudicial assassinations are not "defense". I would be willing to support the UN using military means to move the Israelis back to the pre-1967 borders. They can build any damn fence or wall around those borders. Now for the really extreme. As much as I've grown to despise religions [or the fanatical misinterpretations and abuses of religion]. Jerusalem is far too important of a city to belong to a State or a religion. I would propose relocating the UN from New York to Jerusalem and declaring it an open city of the world, under the control of the UN for eternity. jttmab
