I am outraged that we are still there. We should get out so that our soldiers' and civilians' are not put in peril.

if someone occupied this country -- would you resort to taking hostages if they didn't leave??

It is sad. It is very sad. I've got a lot of outrage for the dunderheaded policies that led to that man getting killed as well as the abuse of the Iraqi people -- the deaths on both sides. What for? What are we going to get out of this that couldn't be accomplished peacefully??

It's got nothing to do with the security of the US -- that's been proven already. Now we've got this ad hoc justification of the liberation of the Iraqi people --

To them THAT IT ONE BIG JOKE -- WE ARE OCCUPIERS -- NOT LIBERATORS. We ought to get out and get out now!!

Everyone knows that Al Qaeda are dispicable terrorists, that's not news. We're at war with them after all. They murdered 3,000 Americans on 9-11.

But a lot of us are outraged (including Bush and Rumsfeld) over the prison scandal because we're supposed to be the good guys. We're supposed to respect human rights.

We're not at war with ourselves.

Can't you see what is so obvious? Or are you too obsessed with spin?
