I think you get out by leaving, just as we did in the Vietnam mistake. This war was an even bigger blunder than Vietnam, since they at least had commie fear and the "domino theory" to go on, but all we had here were a bunch of non-existent WMD's. Iraq is an overreaction to 9/11, manipulated by Bush for his own reasons. Staying just adds to the bodycount. Let them have a civil war. We had one, why don't they have that right? The best thing we could do is just keep other nations out, while staying out ourselves.

Keeping Bush in office is no longer going to be safe for the Americans. He has pissed off a lot of people worldwide. As soon as Bush is defeated in the November elections, the hostility in the world will abate precipitously and the nations will come togeter to concentrate on Al Qaeda and Afghanistan.
