Who do you think we're fighting in Iraq? Terrorists? We're fighting mostly Iraqis that want us to get the hell out of Iraq. It's why they call them "insurgents" and not "terrorists". It's why they call us "occupiers".

Afghanistan would have been fine...........that's where OBL lived and is probably living today. we are not fighting terrorists in Iraq............we are fighting people that want us out of their country. Our war makes it easy for some terrorists to mingle there. If they want to hit us in NYC I am afraid they are able cause we aren't protected from a ton of things. No one has done anything about shipping containers coming into this country. We have long, wide and unprotected borders. Our airplanes are not that safe either. I will not be flying from Sept on into the Fall until after the election.
