I saw that tonight.

Good for him and all others like him trying to help.

Curious, isn't it, that they behaded the guy from Pennsylvania who was beheaded was trying to help rebuild the country?

Quit trying to cover up for the crimes and failures of the Bushies. We don't need to see syrupy stories about how nice everything is in Iraq. We want reality. The reality is that there is not a single place in Iraq where anyone feels safe. Iraq is a total mess and needs to be handed over to the international community. America cannot handle it and Cheney-Bush deserve the stiff boot for getting us in their unilaterally without just cause.

Here's some more good news. The US taxpayers have dumped tens of billions into Iraq and only a few thousand US soldiers have been killed or maimed (while Bush cuts veterans medical benefits and poses with troops at photo ops).

The wonderful Iraqi people have taken our money and are now richer than when Saddam was in power. They have opened schools, firehouses, hospitals and police stations (usually looted or bombed shortly thereafter) with our money while our own schools, firehouses, police stations and hospitals in the US are underfunded. Much of this has been supplied by the great US corporation Halliburton which has sucked up 18 billion of US taxpayers money and won't tell us where the Iraqi oil revenues are going.

The worse things get in Iraq the more Halliburton makes. So that's greatr for good ole Halliburton. If every American buys HAL stock maybe they will all be able to afford the 45% higher health care costs and 75% higher gasoline costs since Cheney-Bush took power. Go Bush!
