527's do what they want to do. If they are united in wanting Cheney-Bush out that's just by chance, and it's only because they care about the American people and our democracy. None of them are special interests in that they profit off the result of the election, unlike most of Bush's contributors.

527's and Kerry campaign have no ties that I know of, just a common enemy. But Cheney-Bush is the enemy of every honest thinking American who isn't an extreme rightwing ideologue. They have driven our great country and economy into a ditch.

You want proof? I know a guy who inherited 800 million and gives liberally to some democratic causes. I tried to get him to come to some Kerry events but he refused. He was giving to Edwards instead. Now he gives to a 527, but to this day he has never attended a Kerry fundraiser nor will he gain one cent if Kerry wins over Bush. In other words, he's a maverick democrat (not a special interest) who can do what he wants with his money so long as it's legal.

Now do 527 members and Kerry supporters know each other? Sure, some do. But the Kerry campaign has no control over what the 527's do and I have never heard anything about them colluding the way Bushies do with the oil company gougers. If 527's want to run pro Bush ads they can.

In the interest of fairness by the way, the 527's are the only way Bush's huge corporate special interest money has been somewhat neutralized. Bush has been very corrupt about his fundraising, spending 20% of his time in office at fundraisers (mostly at tax-payer expense) and handing out so many special favors (tens of billions of our money down the drain). 527's thank God keep us from being utterly inundated and dominated by dishonest, negative Bush ads aimed to help corrupt special interests make windfall profits at our expense.
