My sense is, although the media has gone on a non-stop rampage regarding the prisoner abuse story, that most Americans don't care all that much. Most Americans aren't naive enough to believe far worse abuses have been committed by our troops in every war we've been involved with. Most Americans understand a few bad apples can make a fine organization look terrible. It's interesting to note John Kerry has admitted to being involved with far worse crimes in Vietnam, and they want to elect him President. I wonder if one of those prison guards will ever run for President one day?
