if there is a terror attack during convention time, it will be to get us to look at the spanish option. If anything would solidify the average American's belief that this really is an existential conflict and our resolve to see this through, it would be something like that. This isn't Europe. This isn't infantile nationalism on my part to say this, it's an evident fact. If a viable alternative to Saudi and the surrounding region's oil that we use was available, we could wash our hands of the region, but this just isn't the case.
