Do you follow Tariq Ali's work? How about Rashid Khalidi? I just listened to him for the first time being interviewed by C-SPAN today. He seems to be an excellent and level-headed observer.

This fellow, Spengler, has been amazing me with the depth of his learning and the height of his wisdom(1) for several months now. I thought of you and your sensitive and sensible comments on the Muslim faith and figured this might be of some use to you. If you like this article, check out some of Spengler's other pieces. IMO, he writes some of the best material on the Internet today.
